Save Money Family Garden

Saving By Spending? Yes!

Reducing cost and saving money can sometimes be a really tough job, especially when you have no idea where to start. Believe it or not, but even I was at a point where I didn’t know where to go and struggled to find a solution.

What’s the conclusion?

Now I am provinding you a list of tools that I’ve bought myself and that will help you to reduce your cost, to save money. It might sound weird, but sometimes you have to spend money in order to save some. It’s all about thinking in the long run.

All of the below-mentioned products are really high quality and especially long-living, which is also very important in the financial view.

1. Amazon Kindle

It’s worth every cent. For me – honestly – it’s the best eBook reader that is available on the market. Books are an important part of education.  In the past there was the problem that you could of course buy an eBook reader, but there were actually only a few books available. With kindle there is a selection of over 360,000 books, and each is cheaper than the printed version. That’s why – even you invest money – you will definitly save money here in the long run.

Another great feature is the great battery, oh and did I mention the 3G wireless? I love it!

2. Eee PC

I’ve mentioned in an previous article that I just sold my desktop computer and switched to an Eee PC. Now, about a month later, I can say that this was absolutely a good choice. Not only did I make a profit out of selling my desktop computer and purchasing the Eee PC, I’m saving energy since the battery of this little power machine lasts about 7 hours, depending on the settings.

However, I recommand you to take a look at the mentioned article here.

3. Home Workout Bible

In order to understand everything, you should read my article “Home Workout For Free.” This book is really rewarding, for the $15 I am saving a lot of money now. Fitness club membership, gas, and of course a lot of time.

I’m wondering when people actually start to understand that I can also be done without investing tons of money…

4. Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocked

Let’s be honest, most of the mobile phone contracts are horrible. Once you’ve signed something, you struggle to get out. On the other hand a cell phone is nowadays absolutely crucial ,and it should not be out of date regarding funcionality.

That’s why I only use unlocked phones and I don’t see a reason to sign a contract anytime soon. Plus, I could reduce my monthly cost dramatically. Now I only use it when necessairy, in the past I literally burned the dollars.

5. Midnight Black Metal Notepad w/Pen

Sometimes the best ideas occur when you least expect them. Even some of the articles , ideas how to save money, where first writen on my notepad. In the train, the bus or somewhere else. It’s just a handy and useful tool, that does not cost much and helps you a lot.

6. Garmin GPS Navigator

This probably won’t save you money on the direct, but since time nowadays is money, this very valuable. For me a GPS is a must.

Invest < 400$ And Save 10x As Much!

I can understand that not everyone can afford the mentioned articles and that people might think, “Hell, I thought this site is about saving money, not spending it?”

Let’s have a straight talk! 99% of the money that could be save / resources that could be reduced are directly linked to a lack of rationality.

Think about the following questions:

“Why would you rather spend hundreds of dollars every month instead of buying a book that can help you to have an equal success for just $15?”

“Buying a more efficient car is expensive, but isn’t it worth it in the long run?”
